Your garage is your room, your retreat, and your sanctuary.

At the end of the day, your garage is an extension of your home and your unique aesthetic. But, no matter how you decide to utilize your garage, it remains a dedicated living space that is often subject to: heavy traffic, abrasions, stains, chemicals & more.

At Top Shelf Resin we specialize in transforming your “average” concrete floor into a luxury garage space guaranteed to withstand years of abuse while still impressing your neighbors.

FEATURED FINISHES

QUARTZ

Quartz achieves functional resilience in the harshest flooring environments. With a large selection of colors and signature blends, quartz is a great option for high-traffic environments where durability is a priority.

FLAKE

One of our most popular floors, flake is available in a wide range of colors, sizes, styles, and blends that provide a truly customizable flooring experience. Designed to last, these floors offer durability in the harshest flooring environments.

MICA

Unique metallic flakes derived from a group of sheet silicate minerals known as mica. Similar to flake floors, these are floors made to last.

Our company is owner-operated, meaning we take pride in the craftsmanship of our work. We work with you to understand your vision, so that in the end you are left with a seamless surface you love.

THE PROCESS: Our coating systems are professionally installed with extreme focus on surface prep by using top-shelf, industrial grade materials. We begin by grinding your concrete floor utilizing industry standard diamond grinders. We inspect your floor with a fine tooth comb and begin making repairs to any cracks or fissures. We cannot stress enough the importance of prep work. When done correctly, this will significantly extend the longevity of your floors. We then apply a moisture vapor barrier (MVB) on all floors. This is a non-negotiable for us. Other installers often skip this step, and in Colorado we are seeing floors fail that do not have this coating. Following our MVB, we begin with our primary and base coat application. We use an industrial-grade coating system which is manufactured in the United States. We use low VOC and LEED compliant materials which means we adhere to governmental regulations so our products are better for the environment and approved for use in homes. Traction can be added to any of our coatings and we finish all of our systems with a clear topcoat. Our installers will let you know when your floor is ready for foot traffic and when it’s ready for the heavy duty items including vehicles and machinery.

POLYURIA VS EPOXY - WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? Discover the difference and choose the best option for your space! When it comes to flooring, polyuria, and epoxy may seem similar, but they have key differences. Polyuria offers faster curing times, improved durability, uv resistance, and enhanced flexibility for crack resistance. Additionally, polyuria provides superior chemical resistance, ensuring long-lasting protection and color vibrancy. We use polyuria for all of our quartz, flake and mica floor systems. We use epoxy for our metallics, glitter and solids.

PRICING: This varies, depending on the condition of your current flooring and the size of the project. There are countless DIY options available on the market, or some companies that will sell you a floor for “cheap” - if it’s cheap, you’ll likely be disappointed. We realize that price is an important factor in our customers decision and while we may not be the cheapest, we are meticulous when it comes to the fine details. We will leave you with a floor that will last for years and years to come.

CARE:

·   Sweep your floors daily with a soft bristle brush to prevent dust and dirt from accumulating.

·   Mop your floor once weekly with dawn dish soap and warm water.

·   Clean up any spills immediately. Do not use any harsh chemicals on your floor (bleach, acetone, etc.) to clean, they will discolor your finish.

·   Do not drag any heavy equipment across the floor. This can cause gouges or deep cuts to your floor. While these floors are extremely durable, the same precautions you would use on a concrete floor should be applied.

Following these recommendations will protect and enhance the longevity of your floors.
